Can you believe that it’s the middle of May ALREADY?!! I love seeing all the growth in the garden at this time of year, our garden is definitely at its best in Spring and it explodes with colour before settling down a bit for the summer.
Hubby and I were on a walk a couple of weeks ago – taking a look at our local Bluebell wood when we spied this little butterfly cleverly disguised on some cow parsley.
Can you see it?We discovered later that it’s a fairly common butterfly called an Orange Tip – this is the female one which is a bit less showy than the male, and I’ve since seen the male version flying round the garden.
This little bird has been seen in the garden too recently!
A chunky fun loving bird with an mass of tail ‘feathers’ to flaunt 🙂
I had fun making him last week when a friend taught me how.
Have a lovely week end.
Until next time,
